The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued an important notice regarding the rescheduling of postponed examinations and the re-examination of answer sheets destroyed in fire incidents for various Diploma, Certificate, and Pre-Diploma level programs.
Earlier, CTEVT had conducted several annual and partial examinations for the following levels and programs:
Diploma Level: First Year Second Part, Second Year Second Part, and Third Year Second Part
Pre-Diploma (18-Month Program): Including the (12+6) month structure
These examinations were initially scheduled to be held from 2082/04/16 to 2082/05/27 but were postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.
During this period, some answer sheets stored in police offices for security purposes were destroyed in fire incidents that occurred amid the nationwide crisis.
As per the decision of the CTEVT Examination Committee dated 2082/06/10, the following updates have been finalized:
Postponed Examinations:
Rescheduled to begin from 2082/07/30, according to the updated examination timetable.
Re-Examinations for Destroyed Answer Sheets:
Scheduled to commence from 2082/08/04 as per the official CTEVT exam schedule.
All re-examinations will begin at 7:00 AM sharp.
The destroyed answer sheets were kept in police custody for safekeeping.
Due to the fire incidents, these papers were completely damaged and could not be evaluated.
Affected students are required to attend the re-examinations; previous submissions will be considered invalid.
The Examination Control Office will conduct these re-exams following the official timetable.
The detailed schedule for both postponed examinations and re-examinations has been published on the official CTEVT website.
Website: www.ctevtexam.org.np
Students, educational institutions, and all stakeholders are requested to check the updated timetable carefully and prepare accordingly.
This notice applies to both regular and partial examinees.
The re-examination process aims to ensure fairness, transparency, and academic integrity.
Students must strictly follow the updated schedule published by CTEVT.
Any destroyed answer sheets from the affected sessions are now invalid and non-evaluative.
