If you’re preparing for the Level 4 Assistant exam for Nepal Bank Limited, Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB), or Agriculture Development Bank Limited (ADBL), this blog provides a complete syllabus, exam pattern, and important details based on the Unified Examination System.
The open competitive examination for the Administrative Service (Administration/Cash Group/Sub-Group), Level 4 Assistant/Assistant (Cash)/Lekhpal (Administration), will be conducted under the Unified Examination System.
The exam is divided into two stages:
First Stage: Written Examination – 200 Marks
Second Stage: Interview – 30 Marks
Full Marks: 100
Pass Marks: 40
Exam Type: Subjective (Short & Long Answer Questions)
Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
12 Questions × 5 Marks = 60 Marks
4 Questions × 10 Marks = 40 Marks
Fundamentals of Banking and Financial Systems
Basic Management and Accounting Principles
Mathematics (Quantitative and Analytical Problems)
Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Banking
Full Marks: 100
Pass Marks: 40
Exam Type: Subjective (Short & Long Answer Questions)
Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
8 Questions × 5 Marks = 40 Marks
6 Questions × 10 Marks = 60 Marks
Note:
The syllabus for Paper 2 will vary according to the specific institution (Nepal Bank, RBB, or ADBL).
Exam Type: Oral Interview
Objective: To assess personality, communication, and general knowledge related to banking services.
Only Candidates who have passed the Pre-Qualifying Examination Conducted by the public Service Commission (Loksewa Aayog) for non-technical assistant level (Kharidar/Level 4 or equivalent) are eligible to appear for this exam.
Paper 1 will be common for all three banks (Nepal Bank, RBB, ADBL).
Paper 2 will differ according to the respective institution.
Paper 1 will be held on the same day with one common question paper.
Paper 2 will be held on different days with separate question papers.
Questions will be in both Nepali and English.
Candidates can answer in Nepali, English, or both.
Separate answer sheets will be provided for each section.
Answers must be written in the correct section.
