The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published an urgent notice regarding the submission of applications for study continuation at the Diploma and Certificate levels.
This notice applies to students registered with the CTEVT who, for specific reasons, discontinued their studies in various academic programs conducted at constituent, partnership, and community schools, as well as private affiliated or approved institutions under technical education.

Applications must be submitted within the deadline and must include all required documents and valid reasons for study continuation.
Note: Applications missing attachments or submitted after the final date will not be processed.
(a) Students registered with CTEVT who discontinued studies for genuine reasons may apply for study continuation within the time limit set by the curriculum. If a revised curriculum has been introduced, recommendations will not be granted.
(b) Examinees who failed annual or semester examinations can apply for re-examination within three years of their final exam. Approval for study continuation will be given only after submitting a written commitment to complete all examinations within that timeframe.
(c) A copy of the CTEVT registration card must be included.
(d) An agreement letter from the institution granting study continuation must be submitted, indicating whether the seat is scholarship-based or full-fee.
(e) Applications for study continuation can be made only to the same institution where the study was discontinued.
(f) The applicant must attach a confirmation letter from the institution showing a vacant quota and the last internal assessment sheet verified by the institution.
(g) Institutions can recommend study continuation only within the available vacant quota.
(h) Institutions must obtain a consent letter for study continuation from the Registration Section of the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
Teaching conducted without this consent letter will invalidate the student’s eligibility for final exams, and the institution will bear full responsibility.
(i) Students who failed internal assessment examinations will not be eligible for study continuation approval.
All documents and procedures must be dated after the publication date of this notice.
