The IOE Entrance Exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (IOE) for admission to undergraduate engineering programs across its constituent and affiliated campuses.
Any student who has completed or is appearing in the final exams of Grade 12 (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics can apply ATLEAST C+ OR ABOVE ON EACH SUBJECT.
The exam is usually held between August and September, but the official date is announced by the IOE Admission Committee each year.

Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Long Question (2 Marks) - 40
Short Question (1 Marks) - 60
Negative Marking: Yes (0.1 marks deducted for every wrong answer)
Mathematics – 50 marks

English – 20 marks
Yes, the syllabus is based on the Grade 11 and Grade 12 Science curriculum of Nepal.
